Project Camper

An old van, a new story

This is my 1999 Volkswagen Transporter T4. I'm turning it into a Campervan and Podcast studio.

There is lots to do and I will be involving several different companies within the process. I've already had conversations and made videos with Combe Valley Campers, Ecowagon, Coolwhip Campers, Batteries and Solar to name a few.

The idea is to explain all the parts, components and products utilised in general terms, not specifically related to an old T4. For example, the electrical advice is the same for any van. Professionals are involved all along the way so lessons can be learnt.

I have started to strip it out and will be insulating soon. Then will come the electrics, before the bed is fitted.

There is lots I haven't planned or sorted, so if you have any suggestions and wish to be involved, then please do let me know.
